Green Light program news

This highly innovative and acclaimed program has now successfully completed the several phases, commencing in 2013 with 35 organisations within the greater Geelong region. The second phase (Northern GreenLight) was launched in mid 2014 and 2015, with a representative businesses drawn from across Hume, Darwin, Whittlesea  and Moreland municipalities.

The overwhelming success of GreenLight, as acknowledged in the 2015 Premiers Sustainability Awards, has created on-going demand to continue to roll out this program into 2016 and beyond, and with part-sponsorship from the Victoria Government it represents tremendous value for participants.

Sectors involved include Manufacturing, Heavy Industrial, Health, Food & Agriculture, Furniture, Education, Services, Water Authorities, Retail, Tourism, Furniture, Recycling, Disability, Professional Services and local Government.

With each organisation able to have up to two people participating in the program, this provides a most valuable way for internal collaboration, sharing learnings and idea and being able to embed the program more fully within their own organisation.

With small to large businesses participating it allows for the a CEO to attend and then bring the staff member most appropriate to the particular workshop theme at the time. A full set of course materials are provided upon registration of the GreenLight program.
